Where We Are

The workshop will be held in room C309 at the CRX Building (100 Louis-Pasteur) at the University of Ottawa.

Transportation To/From Ottawa

By Air: Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW)

YOW is located 15km (20 minutes by car) from the University of Ottawa.

Taxis to the University are approximately $40 and are usually parked outside the arrivals area.

Buses to the University are another option. The bus stop is directly outside the arrivals area to your right when you exit the main doors. You can:

• Take bus 97 (Bayshore direction) and get off at Laurier station for $3.60
• Take an “Airport Limousine Bus” to the downtown core. These buses are $10 and stop by some main hotels downtown.

Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also available. Rates are dynamically priced.

By Train

You can reach Ottawa by train with Via Rail and arriving at Ottawa Tremblay Road Train Station. It is an 8 minute/$15 cab ride, 15 minute transit ride (one option is bus 61, Terry Fox direction to Laurier Station), or ~40 minute walk from the University of Ottawa.

By Car

This will of course depend on where you are driving from. You can find information on campus visitor parking here.

You are responsible for arranging your own accommodation. There are a number of hotels nearby, including:

A light breakfast and snacks will be provided. You are responsible for your own lunch and dinner arrangements.
